Chickpeas Roasted with Oregano

Enjoy! This is my new favorite snack.

Ingredients

  • 1⁄2 cup no-salt added canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped oregano
  • Dash of salt
  • 
Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • 1. Heat oven to 425°F.
  • 2. Place the chickpeas on a sheet tray and toss with the olive oil, oregano, salt and pepper.
  • 3. Cook until edges are brown, approximately12 minutes.
  • 4. Serve hot or at room temperature.
